3 x UGA-4KDP Video Adapters with USB 3.0 Hub

I installed (3) Plugable UGA-4KDP video adapters connected to 3 Acer XF270H monitors with a resolution of 1920 x1080. I am using display port cables. The computer is a Lenovo Idea Pad laptop with an i5 CPU and 16GB of Ram running Windows 7 pro. The 3 Plugable adapters are connected through an (Anker USB 3.0 SuperSpeed 10-Port Hub Including a BC 1.2 Charging Port with 60W (12V / 5A) Power Adapter [VIA VL812-B2 Chipset and updated Firmware 9081] AH231). I installed the drivers from the Plugable website and monitors came up perfectly. After 3 or 4 minutes 1 monitor turns purple and goes offline, after I re-plugged in the adapter the display comes back on and goes offline again. My questions are do you think the one adapter defective and is this USB 3.0 HUB powerful enough to power three of the UGA-4KDP adapters at the same time. I have no other issues with the computer or the other adapters only this particular adapter in the system.

For the benefit of anyone else following this thread, Joe had also reached out to us directly for help via http://plugable.com/support/email/. We asked that he remove the USB hub from the equation to help rule it out as a potential cause, and when the behavior continued we provided a replacement.

Should anyone have a similar issue, the best practice is always to isolate the behavior as best as possible, and if the problem continues reach out to us directly with one of our PlugDebug files (http://plugable.com/support/plugdebug) to help us determine the next steps.

Thank you,

Bob
